Take your vitamins

Dealing with rejection or being denied isn't an easy pill to swallow.  But it is exactly that - a vitamin.  It's a healthy stepping stone to building up confidence in your abilities despite subjective opinions.  In a career in the arts especially, feedback will always contain some percentage of subjective opinion mixed in with an algorithm of technique, aesthetics, and type casting needs.  Therefor one door shut doesn't equal all doors shut.  Look for another door or another building.  Take advice and weigh your outcomes against your strengths and weaknesses.  Use the rejection vitamin as a moment to re-evaluate your approach for next time.  That way when audition season roles around and/or casting begins, you can get yourself a tall glass of water and be mentally prepared to swallow your vitamins with your chin up!
